Now in its ninth year the Government Health and Safety Lead (GHSL) Summer Internship Programme, is a well recognised sector wide initiative which has supported over 110 interns in considering a career in health, safety and wellbeing with over 50% launching their careers in the public and private sector.

Our award wining programme would not be the successful without our host agencies and managers. The programme continues to thrive thanks to the commitment of our host managers and their teams, who provide real world experience, meaningful work projects to showcase the depth, breadth and range of health, safety wellbeing being completed across the public sector.
