Positive Workplace Cultures is a system-wide programme to support chief executives and their agencies to create work environments where people enjoy what they do, are respected for who they are, and contribute to the maximum of their potential.

The GHSL led a series of forums with social sector agencies focussing on the key scenarios in which this risk presents, and the systems and controls in place to manage this.

This guide is designed to support government agencies to take appropriate steps to ensure the health and safety, privacy and security of workers working from home. The advice within this guide is not prescriptive and should be tailored to each agency’s needs and existing systems, while considering the types of work being undertaken by workers and circumstances around the working from home arrangement. For the purpose of this guide, the terms ‘you’ and ‘agency’ will refer to the person conducting business or undertaking (a PCBU) and employees of the agency will be referred to as ‘workers’.

Here is some written guidance which aligns with the public sectors guidance on how to identify and manage people who primarily work alone or in isolated conditions. It provides some practical and written guidance on how to go about taking some basic steps to eliminate challenges and risks.
