The 2024 Health and Safety Representatives Conference is a full-day development event, to be held at the Shed 6 Wellington on Thursday 06 June 2024.

The focus of the 2024 Health and Safety Representatives Conference is on Worker Engagement, Participation and Representation.

Join us at the conference as we explore how the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 emphasises collaboration between workers, their representatives, and organisations to actively identify, manage, and enhance the management of risks arising from work.

Frontline workers possess invaluable insights into hazards that impact their health, safety, and wellbeing. Fostering connection between those on the ground and decision-makers within organisations improves outcomes. We will explore mechanisms that empower workers to actively participate in managing their work environment.

Do you have a health and safety representative superstar? Nominations for the GHSL H&S Rep of the Year awards were due to close 30th March 2024 but given all the changes happening across government and the timing of Easter we are extending the close off date to Tuesday 9 April - this is a great opportunity  to recognise and acknowledge the hard work your reps do in their role.
